Since 2015, David Ivar aka HERMAN DUNE has lived in San Pedro, California, the Port of Los Angeles, with his partner, the artist Mayon Hanania, and three black cats. There he started his own studio and label Santa Cruz Records, where he recorded movie soundtracks (Blockbuster, Petaouchnok and more) and Herman Dune albums: Sweet Thursday (2016), Santa Cruz Gold (2018 digitally and 2021, through BB*ISLAND as vinyl and CD), Notes From Vinegar Hill (2020) and now THE PORTABLE HERMAN DUNE Vol 1.
Since 2015 Herman Dune hasn’t toured in Europe. For THE PORTABLE HERMAN DUNE, David Ivar will go back on the road exceptionally. All shows will be solo performances in unique places, for memorable nights.
