“Bird Queen Of Garbage Island” is the first single of The Burning Hell’s upcoming album Garbage Island, due for release in mid 2022. You may stream the song on your favorite streaming platform. But this here is for the physical world: a limited edition 7” vinyl with an accompanying comic book written for the project by the French graphic novelist and illustrator Emmanuel Moynot. Exclusively on that 7” you’ll get the Single B-Side, a cover of the They Might Be Giants song “Birdhouse In Your Soul”

”Bird Queen Of Garbage Island” showcases songwriter Mathias Kom’s typically irreverent, surrealist lyricism (and more Waterworld references than a Kevin Costner fan convention), over a musical landscape provided by bandmates Ariel Sharratt, Jake Nicoll, and Darren Browne, which combines a Tom Tom Club-style groove with an ASMR breakdown featuring office supplies and - fittingly - plenty of actual garbage.

The accompanying video was created by the award-winning New Brunswick multi-media artist Graeme Patterson.
