THE BURNING HELL
„The Old World“ - this is the title of the painting by Gabe Foreman that has been used for the cover artwork of the album "Baby" by The Burning Hell . And no, the painting is not shown here but „The Old World“ could have been as well the title for this band promo shot, taken by Angus Rowe MacPherson
Back in 2009, The Burning Hell was still a project with Mathias Kom at its centre but a rotating cast of musicians otherwise, way more people then shown here, from left to right these are: Jill Staveley (e-gtr, voc.), Jenny Gleeson (accordion, vocals), Charlie Glasspool (trumpet, vocals), Adam DeMarsh (drums, vocals), Mathias Kom (bariton ukulele, piano, lead vocals), Nick Ferrio (bass, lap steel, vocals), Mike Duguay (glockenspiel, key, vocals), Jenny Mitchell (omnichord, banjo, vocals), Steve McNabb (trumpet, vocals).
Now, for "Baby" we're excited to give this record a loving (first time on) vinyl re-release on its 10-year anniversary.
The Burning Hell Baby will be available in stores Nov. 23rd or you can pre-order here. (ships Nov., 16th)…ah, and the first 250 orders will get "The Old World" by Gabe Forman as a handy fold out wide screen poster, too.
